<<Networking Nugget>> Today it is your goal to simply offer to take someones picture with their camera. When you do this, you are not only being a good person but you are also getting in the habit of seeing new opportunities to meet people in a non threatening way.
This is such a cool one! I go tint the habit of taking people’s picture while out and about just because I like to be a good person and I know that pictures create memories for people. Since I always look for ways to meet new people and to open conversation this is a very simple way to accomplish both. I had made several friends that I have connected with on Facebook just because I offered to help them out by snapping a pic for them. Really, this takes all of 30 seconds if it does not result in a conversation and you make someone’s day. I am posting this on Friday so you can have it anchored in your brain for the weekend.

Give someone an AWESOME day by taking their photo!!
Today’s video nugget is a really easy one to do. Should only take you a few minutes actually. I would love to know what you think about these daily business networking tips. Have an awesome day today and happy networking!! Hey, if you like the video, please feel free to hit the “share” button.
Here’s your “QuoteAction” of the day:
“I attribute my success to this: I never gave or took any excuse.”
Nurse and Writer, Florence Nightingale
Your action for today is to pay attention to how many excuses you use or hear others use during the day.
This is so potent as our language is so important. I started to pay close attention to the words I was using and realized that I use to allow myself to keep myself from being boxed into any commitment. When you are out networking or just hanging around other people, if you start to pay very close attention, you will start to hear so many excuses. Even though it seems easy enough to just do what you say you are going to do, it is very easy to allow yourself off the hook. I started working with a business coach and one of the main things she is on me about is making sure that I stay to my word no matter what. When I am actually listening for excuses from people it helps me not make them just because they all start to sound a bit silly. Try just going into a meeting or networking event and pay close attention to how often people give excuses for everything and then next time try yourself to NOT give a single excuse. You will sound completely different. Posture is everything!!
Have an extraordinary day!
Give someone an AWESOME day!
<<Networking Nugget>> Today could be a bit scary. Your nugget today is to ask 3 clients what the best part has been in working with your company. This may give you some insights into what your reputation is in the marketplace. Just jot them down. Now you need to somehow thank them for taking the time to share their experience with you.
Even though this may seem a bit on the scary side, you will get a great idea of how you are perceived in the marketplace as well as y o uneven know what kind of conversations they will lead to. Let me give you a great example. I did this exact thing yesterday and while I was on the phone one of the clients asked if I had an extra copy of a cd series that she already owned. I of course said “YES!” and she bought it for full price! I love that!! So, just staying in touch with current clients and customers can result in more sales! We all love more sales!!
Give 3 of your clients an AWESOME day by calling them!!
I hope you enjoy this Networking Nugget! If you listen closely, you will hear the camera guy try to hold in his laughter as I actually use the phrase, “unicorn hunt” in the video. This is a great nugget to use if you are really looking to increase your networking for profit skill set. I am always looking to bring you tips to assist you in increasing your bottom line profit.
Give someone an AWESOME day!
Here’s your “QuoteAction” of the day:
“Personal growth and increased confidence take place when we are testing the limits of our lives.”
Inventor, Thomas Payne
Your action for today is to do something that would test the limits of what you have done in the past.
This is such a great quote and action item for today. If you think about all the ways we can test the limits it becomes quite an exhilarating thought process. If you decide to test the limits of your life, you can do so either from a personal or business perspective. For example, if you are looking for a way to test the limits in business, maybe you want to learn a new program, meet someone new, learn to network better, create a product or even just create a space in which you create. If you have any thoughts on ways to take action or if you are secure sharing, all of us would love to hear what you are committing to do. Share your comments below.
Have an extraordinary day!
Give someone an AWESOME day!!
<<Networking Nugget>> Facebook driven. Join 3 groups where your “DREAM” prospects would hang out & post to the wall of each. **Note: When posting in the groups DO NOT post any link. All you should post is “Hey, I am happy to be a small part of an amazing group, if we are not connected, friend me up!” This way you have the ACTIVE members of the group sending you friend requests.
Here is the theory behind this nugget. You see, as we build up our network of relationships, we want to include people who are active in what they do. I know there are some people who can’t even imagine having 5ooo connections on Facebook, but I assure you, you will be there shortly and then you will kick yourself for not being a bit more careful in who you accept into your profile page. All I am suggesting is that people who are actively using the groups where you post will have a higher likelihood of being in the networking game as opposed to people who are not active inside the group. Plus the big bonus is now they are sending you a request instead of you having to send requests. When someone sends you a friend request, I hope you are at least sending back a tiny note thanking them and how excited you are to connect.
Go join a few groups and then go give someone an AWESOME day!
