Great advice for the day.

“If you fail the first time, consider yourself normal, and try again. If you fail a second time, consider yourself special for you have what it takes to succeed. If you fail a third time, consider yourself extraordinary, for many people would have already given up.”

Your action for today is to celebrate one of your failures. Give someone an AWESOME day!

Here is a cool training webinar on one of the most underutilized websites ever!

The Ideal Networker Hey Gang~~

Just wanted to do a super quick post to let you know that I did an AWESOME webinar training for the Gang over at Lead System Pro.  They are getting really AWESOME feedback from it and I wanted to share it with you.  Here is how it is broken down. There are two 45 minutes sections.  The first section is how to use meetup to locate groups of prospects in ANY city in virtually ANY industry and with almost any intreats you can dream up.  If you are into building your network then this will be a very valuable training.  Click here to watch it. Then I did a second 45 minute section on how you can use meetup to create groups of prospects.  There are many secrets revealed in both of the webinars how you can use the system to literally build you an email list of people interested in exactly what you are.

I use meetup every time I go to a new city to find people who have the same interests as I do, where the business leaders hang out, and most importantly I use it every day to build networking relationships with people who match my exact criteria for prospects.  I invite you to check it by clicking this line. Please share this post with whomever you feel might benefit.  I would love your feedback after you see the webinar.

Give someone an AWESOME day!  Casey

A great tool…Google Alerts!

"A cool tool for you!"

Google Alerts are AWESOME!

Howdy Gang~~  I am so excited to bring you my very first “guest” post from a trusted advisor.  Christina Littrell~Williams is one of the coolest and brightest people I know.  She is the Founder of VA-a-GoGo.com and runs my entire office.  I asked her is she would give you all a few tips to help take y our business to the next level, and the first one she sent over was this very important tip.  This was the first thing she had me set up when we started working together and it has helped me in so many ways.  Enjoy the tip and PLEASE visit her blog or share this post to your Facebook page.  Give someone an AWESOME day!!

Here you go~~

Google Alerts is a program I HIGHLY RECOMMEND… you can get it by creating a “google account” and if you have one or use Gmail then you already have access.

What are “Google Alerts”? It is a program that allows you to set up key words, names, websites that you would like to track any “online activity” about them.  You can distinguish that you want any updates, updates on video, updates on news, updates on a webpage, or updates in a group all relating to your key terms.  You choose to have the information updated to you weekly or daily or as it happens. You can also choose how the updates get delivered to you – via email (plain text or html) or rss feed.

Some suggestions on how to use Google Alerts:

  • Track You! – you should always have google alerts for your name your & your company name.  This will set up an alert to you for when people refer to you somewhere on the internet – very important because you might miss good statements you can thank peeps for or miss bad things.
  • Track Your Competitors – how about knowing what your competition is doing?  Have it delivered to your inbox and don’t waste time searching.
  • Track Your Keywords – keep an eye out on key terms that deal with your business so you can stay up on the latest and greatest.
  • Track Your Material – if you have a website or blog you want to protect your content – pick out key phrases from your website or blog and set up an alert – it will let you know if someone else steals your content.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

Hey Gang! Location isn’t only important in the real estate business. In any business you need to have your own space, a place that is devoted to your business. In other words, we all need a place to work. Now maybe you’re the type who can conduct their entire business from the car (hope you’re not talking on a hand-held cell phone while driving) or from the park or even from a coffee shop. If you can work like that, PLEASE teach me how you do it! I’ve tried and tried but always end up distracted by traffic, those two kids fighting over the swing, or that piece of cherry cheesecake on the counter. Sure, sure…we all work all the time to grow our businesses and that sometimes (a lot of times, actually) means we are doing business from places like these. But there always comes a point where you need to settle, take a seat, pull out your paperwork and work undisturbed. It’s doesn’t have to be an executive suite with fabulous matching Italian modern furniture. I’ve worked on an old door held aloft by orange crates in the past. Ugly as heck, but it works.

It all comes down to being able to focus. Concentration is difficult so why not give yourself the advantage. Be it an extra bedroom in your home or a corner of a room where the kids aren’t always running around, you need to identify that “work space” in your home and keep it sacred. This is your work space, not the place to scrapbook old photos, collect sheep during a furious game of Farmville or poke your friends on facebook.

Once you’ve created your space, be demanding on your employee — that’s you! Set a time to sit at your desk every day and work. Can’t get motivated? Well, I have a 3X5 card taped to the wall above my computer. On it is printed an old Yiddish saying — “ribe tuchus.” Translation: “Sit there.” Uh-huh…when you’re at work you should concentrate on work. Can’t concentrate? Then just sit there until you do. Trust me, you’ll be surprised at how many good ideas come to you when you think you’re mind is just flashing “12:00.”

Have fun creating a great work space and you’ll soon be happy to go to “work” every day. Give someone an AWESOME day!
