It is Sunday, Spend 5 minutes sometime today pulling 1 business card of someone you met last week. Now post something on Facebook about them OR see if you can create a referral for them.
Every time I try to generate a referral for someone it always seems to open up another opportunity for me in some capacity. When you really believe that “Givers Gain” philosophy there is something that happens. Maybe it is Karma? Maybe it is just luck? Maybe, just maybe it has you in work mode and when we are in concentrated work mode stuff seems to just fall in our laps.

I would love to know what habit you are willing to commit to giving up for a day? I have several bad habits that I will give up for a day at a time. One of them is checking the stats of my blog every 30 minutes! I am obsessed because I think these quotes are so great and fun little things to think about. I used to worry a whole bunch and the funny thing is in almost every single case, I had no control over the outcome. If you are in business an find that you are worrying about what a lead is going to do, I have found that by actually telling the person I have no emotional attachment of the outcome of their decision that I actually close a whole heck of a lot more business.

I just did this and I have to say it sparked clarity on an idea I have been tossing around for the concept for a new book series that I am writing.
