A very SIMPLE 1:34 Tip of the Day!

Hey Gang~~ I am sitting here at my desk wishing that you will feel 1:34 is worth investing in at least watching this short video and taking the action step! It will only help you, I promise. If you are building a network marketing, direct sales, or traditional business I think you will find this very helpful. You do want people who call you to be left with the right impression of you right? If you practice attraction marketing then this is DEFINATELY something you should do. Have an amazing day………..now go give someone else an AWESOME day!

SPEAK UP AND BE HEARD!

Hey gang! There is something I do every single day to get myself more exposure and I love it. Why? Because it’s FREE!

Add comments or links to other people’s blogs. That’s it. Simple. Easy. Effective. Go into forums and make comments. Go to Yelp and add your comments. Even Facebook is a great place to be seen by an unlimited number of people.

I comment on three different blogs every day. In doing so, I become a part of that blogger’s community. Have the commitment to make comments every day and soon you’ll be viewed as a knowledgeable expert of whatever subject is at hand.

Just remember that when you’re commenting you don’t need to sell something every time. Contribute something meaningful to the post or blog. Have something relevant to say. If you’re marketing to, say, fly fishermen, then find a few fly fishing blogs and post tips and stories about fly fishing. Don’t always be a salesman, but rather a part of the community with the community’s needs in mind.

If you’re looking for a place to start, well then come on over to my site, theidealnetworker.com, and leave a comment. I LOVE those comments. And trust me, there’s not a blogger alive who doesn’t follow how many times their blog is reTweeted and put on Facebook. They’re helping you and you’re helping them. Don’t you just love Win/Win? I can see how much traffic I get on my side from when I comment on other people’s blogs. It’s huge. And other bloggers can see, too. That blogger might even call and interview you for a post sometime. How cool is that, huh?

Another thing — when you can upload a picture of yourself to include with your comment. Get your face out there. We all know people relate better to an actual face than just a printed name. Flash those baby blues or dazzle ’em with that smile. Network marketing is personal marketing. Let them see the person that you are.

Read the comments on blogs from others and you’ll get an idea of what works and what doesn’t. But bottom line, if you add value to the post, you have added value to your own business.

Now go forth and blog, my friends. And reTweet, and comment, and Facebook and whatever else you can think of.

And as always, while you’re doing all of that, give someone an AWESOME day!

Meet my Nephews and NEVER Miss A Moment!

Hey Gang~~

Very simple message today. Because I am in Network Marketing I have something a lot of people strive for…… TIME! A couple of weeks ago I decided at the last minute to jump in the car and head out for a two week road trip. Most of the videos you will be seeing for the next couple of weeks were done while on the trip. One of my favorite moments from the trip in Seattle was to watch my two favorite nephews (I only have 2) take a Karate class. It inspired me to shoot a tiny 50 second video. Enjoy and I (like every Blogger) love comments! If you like my stuff, consider joining my “Info Loop” on the right side of this video! Give someone an AWESOME day!

Turning Cold Calls into Gold Calls!

Hey Gang!

I get lots of people asking me for my opinion on cold calls. I know why they ask. Secretly, they’re hoping that I (or someone — anyone) will tell them not to make cold calls. I believe that most newcomers to network marketing or any business think of cold calls as an absolute horror, the most painful, humiliating thing that could ever happen.

Well, here’s my opinion. DO IT. That’s right. Make those calls. I call cold calls Gold Calls and for good reason. A cold call, if done right, can turn your phone into an ATM machine. And all you had to do was pick up the phone and dial. Okay, there’s a bit more to it than that. Before you pick up that receiver, do some research. If I’m looking to bring someone into my eting business I look for people who kind of do what we do. They just don’t know it yet.

Think of it this way. Who better to understand the value of a cold call than someone who does it all day themselves? Look for the professionals that sell big ticket items, such as real estate, advertising, insurance. They make lots of cold calls and are usually more receptive to someone cold calling them. I also call only people who work on a 1099 (in income tax terms, that means freelancers). A person who doesn’t run their own show ma not have access to the funds to make a purchase. However, to the big ticket item seller, a few hundred bucks to get into a great business opportunity is no big deal.

Once you’ve identified who you want to call, then the best practice is simply to start calling. Oh sure, you may flub a few calls, but from each conversation you’ll learn. Listen to the person you called. Try to figure out what problems they’re having and how your product or service can solve that problem. Let them tell you how you can help them. Not every product or opportunity is right for every person so don’t be discouraged if the connection just isn’t there. Try what I do. It’s called FORM – family, occupation, recreation and money. If you lead with those four topics you’ll discover just about all you need to know about your prospect.

Once you get over your initial fear of cold calling you’ll be amazed at how quickly you become at ease with the process. And when you make that first sale or bring someone into your organization…Wow! No better feeling, my friends.

Go from Cold to Gold! And while you’re on that call, give someone an AWESOME day!

Sitting Here Wondering If Your Boat Is Floating?

Hey Gang~~ So here it is a beautiful Saturday here in Los Angeles and I have spent the day so far creating some great videos that you will start seeing every other day or so. Recently, I was on a trip up to Seattle and was discussing life and network marketing with one of my closet and oldest friends. We were talking about how so many people go through life without ever having their boat floated! This short little video is the result….(And you get to see some great boats in the background). I would like to say Thank You for watching it and if you really want to brighten my day (and I know you would) please show me a tiny bit of love and hit the RT button up above or look to your right and “Stay in the Loop”

Have an amazing day and give someone else an AWESOME day!!
